Something is wrong with the fruits - especially apples - in the supermarkets over here. The taste is somehow plastic and dry. Me not like. So instead of not buying apples - which is not an option for me - I go to one of all the Farmers Markets. As I used to work in midtown my favourite one is at the buzzing yet surprisingly quiet Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza. Perfect for a quick snack and a look at one of all the many UN Demonstrations origining from this spot.
