In the wild huckstery at Canal Street I have found this little oasis. The Pashmina Mall is calm and quiet and filled with beautiful pashminas of all colors and qualities. And supernice staff who patiently listens to my Chinese and answers as if I actually speak it well. Absolutely adorable. A bit tricky to find tho. On the north side of the Canal Street some 10 shops from the corner of Lafayette. A huge sign with Chinese lanterns says Pashmina Mall. It is at the very right hand end of the long corridor into the building.____________________
